laying it down

So a friend of a friend of a friend hooked us up with a student at OIART here in London for some recording time. we had four hours, and got all the drums tracked for three songs. mat was on fire, he did the first song (and probably the most complicated) done in the first take. i believe that was a good omen, because i laid down all my bass tracks at the guys home studio later that night. just in time for the Black Mountain show at Call The Office. Probably one of the best days of my summer so far,

recording = tediousness + funny             recording = fun + beer = just fun

currently listening too . . . TALLEST MAN ON EARTH - probably one of the greatest young songwriters ive come across in a long time.
